A poetic, timeless wedding
In his 19 hectare’s domains, Villers-en-Ouche is nestled in the French department of the Orne, less than 2 hours from Paris. Built in 1610 with harmonious, well-balanced proportions, with its numerous outbuildings, it offer a rustic yet elegant setting to welcome your family and friends on your wedding day. The estate’s gardens and pathways evoke the charms of a bygone civilization: the bower, the flowers, the delightful kitchen garden, the pond in a green setting, the allée Saint Christophe, and the allée du Trianon which leads to a small pavilion, the “Folie du château”. In the evening, you can admire the sunset here, extending the dream with a candlelit dinner: candlelight gradually replaces the golden light of sunset in the undergrowth.

Renting the Château de Villers-en-Ouche : pratical information

- One or more reception rooms for au sit-down dinner.

Intimate wedding (80 guests max)
If you’re dreaming of a small-scale wedding, you can host your guests for a sit-down meal in the 80 m 2 barn overlooking the main courtyard. This building was constructed at the same time as the château, in the early 17th century, and offers an authentic space full of charm.
Cocktails can be held in the courtyard of honor facing the château. But if the weather is uncertain, you can open up the château’s salons to shelter your guests and take advantage of its beautiful, light-filled rooms.
For an even more intimate affair, you can divide your dinner guests between the château’s two drawing rooms and dining room, and keep the barn for the dance floor. This solution reduces the hubbub and makes the most of these rooms, which are listed as French historic monuments.
Grand wedding
For a wedding of 150 seated guests, you can also combine the salons of the château with the barn for dinner. In this case, however, it’s preferable to erect a small tent in the park to serve as a dance floor and Plan B in case of rain during the cocktail reception.
For more than 150 people, we can put you in touch with professional tentsmiths to find a tent that will accommodate all your guests. Set up in the French garden, it will add a touch of chic to your event.
Weather permitting, the French garden offers a magnificent reception area for cocktails.
